I have listened to Ray Gomez for years. He has played with a lot of people, and then he put out his own record in the late 70s.

One of the standard bullsh*t moves on the record company's part - his record should have been a monster, but the record company didn't promote it.

Ray is a terrific player - because he is so inventive, he is always an inspiration to me. If you are into the modern vibrato bar techniques, he was doing stuff years ago that is only now being done by other well-known players.
